Clearing Customs and Quarantine? Here are a few pointers!

Check out http://www.customs.gov.au/site/page.cfm?u=4260 – it has all the information
Give plenty of notice – you must give a minimum of 96 hours notice but can let them know your arrival up to 3 months in advance by simply emailing yachtreport@customs.gov.au
Remain onboard and don’t move – Customs and Quarantine will come and clear you and then you are free to move
Know our Quarantine laws – Australia has strict quarantine regulations so have a look at http://www.daffa.gov.au/aqis/avm/vessels for all the information.
